I have a Zero Download virus oon my pc, apart from formatting the hard drive how can I clear it.
By zero download I mean everytime I try and either open an attachment or download something I get a security warning and the file gets deleted.
Any ideas wgat I can do? |

If you can access internet then Google it for removal guidance. You might have to start in safe mode to allow you to download Malwarebytes which is a pretty good anti-virus, but Google first to see what it says. |

The zero download is just what I call it.
I can access the internet no problem just cant open any files that are attached to an email or download anything.

Any tips on how you sorted it, in case anyone on here gets it? I would have installed malwarebytes from a disk etc. I keep in on all the time anyway, and it frequently catches something, in addition to my antivirus scans. Realise this sw was recommended above by someone else, but thought installing from a disc or other drive may have got round the download restriction. |
