Quite a few of us request that friend invites are not sent unless we know you. You can always ask if it is ok to send one, after messaging a while etc. It prevents someone seeming opportunistic, trying to see photos reserved for genuine contacts, or just trying your luck. As it is, for single women, coping with a huge inbox, winks and friend invites is almost like a full time job, so making it harder is a hassle. If messages to others dont work, improve your profile, personalise messages and ensure you adhere to others' preferences etc. Get out and meet people socially, if online is not working well and youve been a long term member with poor results. |
