just got a dongle for my lap top but turns out cant view alot of sites because need to have a credit card or a photo id i have neither any one got any ideas |

I had the same problem, went to 02 shop sorted it in 2 mins 
By the way if you don't want to explain that it's for using sites like this I just said it wouldn't let me on gambling  |

I had same with my new iPhone go into O2 shop and they will unblock it for u there and then hope this helps x |

Had the same I just marched into o2 shop and told them I can't watch porn on my phone. I am 45 and if I choose to watch it I will. They were more embarrassed than me. Sorted there and then. |

All this worry about what people in the shop are going to think is pointless,they aren't going to ask you a thing about it,I got a new phone last week,it was the first thing I got them to sort out  |

The lads in my o2 shop showed me some porn on their handsets, so sure they would not bother about us customers. The only people I know who dont view porn do not do so for religious seasons. Not many left these days. |

Yup - when I got a new phone - I just went in to the shop and said in a LOUD voice - unblock it please so I can have porn! (with a wide smile).
It's remarkable how quickly you can get served sometimes......  |

Is it pay as you go or contract?
Pay as you go: u do need I.d. to prove you are over 18.
Contract: no I.d. needed as a credit check has already been carried out and proved u are over 18, registered at the address given. Contact O2 and get the content lock removed.

Its them modern phones dude they work your age out from how you type its made me do all the apostrophe stuff just to keep in the safe zone.  |

All new contracts and Pay as go will have this, it's a new government thing to protect kids. It taken me 4 attempts to get my one off. Had to go to the O2 shop to remove in the end. Happy dayz . |
