Good luck Evie

So today is the day that Evie runs her 3 miles for sports relief. I just want to say good luck, and more importantly how very proud I am of you.

Over the last 18 months, I have watched Evie transform her lifestyle to avoid having to use insulin to control her diabetes. She has managed to change her diet, but at the same time Bern determined to to lose weight and get fitter.

Over the last year she has gone from not running to now regularly attending park runs, and recently joining a running club, ending so. far in a 3 mile run for charity.

Again I am so very proud, and am sorry I can't be there today. X x x x

Today's the culmination of a lot of effort, but the end results are worth it.

Well....I did it!!!!

My Nike + on my iPod actually measured it as 5.6k which is over 3 miles but the best bit was my nephew decided to register this morning and run with me!

He was only going to do the 1 mile but each lap he decided to stay with me. It was amazing having him there x

What was not amazing was the massive hail storm that started just after the start!!!!

Am really pumped!! Next challenge is 10k in either July or November. Not sure I'll be ready for July lol
