Russell Brand is the least talented and ubfunny comedian (used in the loosest terms) I have ever seen, how did this plonker ever become famous. Came from nowhere has never said anything funny, starred in a crap film, wish he would crawl away in the same way he arrived with people not noticing. |

"how did this plonker ever become famous. "
He became famous by being a very successful presenter, having a very successful film career and being a very very successful stand up comedian. Not too difficult to understand is it. |

Of course its hard to understand when he has no talent not in the least funny abnoxious personality and a total twat, but as someone said at least hes fucked Katy Perry, maybe some talent from her pussy juice will of rubbed off on him but I doubt it lol |

I like his take on things but deffo runs away with himself at times.
We went to see him in Sheffield last year. Was both informative and funny.
He is a marmite figure tho. We think he is great but understand what he get on others nerves. |

even though he isnt my cup of tea, i can see why some would find him funny.
at least he doesnt just stand there and shout and swear, its more intricate than that, but i still dont think he is funny.
and you say a very successful film career?
how many really good films has he been in?
i couldnt name 1, being honest, and that not because its him, just because i cant think of one.

"I smell quite a bit of jealousy.
explain
Say please?
now dog gammit! lol"
He's just someone who turned his life around to become very famous, having sex with beautiful women, successful & rich.
But he is marmite.
I like the guy but agree his acting/films are terrible. |

but....
you agree he is marmite (i agree he has done well to stop being a junkie and use his life lessons to earn a living out of entertaining, allegedly lol) so why are those that say they cant stand him being jealous?
funnily enough, i was chatting to my parents about the trappings of fame and wealth only yesterday, as i really wanted to be an actor when i was a kid. but i concluded that, to have success, you have to sell your soul to the devil (tabloid press) and so your life is no longer your own, and i dont think all the money in the world would be worth never having my own life again, whether that be from what milk i drink, looking like shite on a beach somehwere, ot whom i shoot my cock snot up inside.
so no, i really am not jealous of him, he just really isnt my cup of tea.
he reminds me of that bloody kyle fella off itv.
thinks because he has had some adversity in his life, he knows best and is never wrong (dont think he still has to apologise for that hone call that got him and wossy thrown off the radio, but i could be wrong on that one) |

Out of all attributes mentioned, I think his humanity stands out... He seems to give a shit about people...whether the rest of society feels they're worth the time of day or not.

That was not as bad as the papers made out. Just a joke that he got carried away with. (and not a good one) but he did say sorry. If that's all there is to slag him off about. It's not that bad in the grand scheme of things. |

first of all i wasnt slagging him off just providing a reminder of the negative side to his behaviour.
perhaps all of the people who think its ok because he apologised should have a think as to whether they would accept this bullying behaviour in any other walk of life.
and bear in mind the next pair of radio presenters we heard playing a joke contributed to a suicide. Still think its ok to behave this way !! |

Well other than say sorry (and mean it) what else could he do?
Everyone at some point fucks up, we can't condemn them for the rest of their lives.
As for the australian djs, do you honestly believe that the suicide was their fault?
Prank calls on the radio are tediously commonplace these days, they may be boring and unfunny, but I can't see how that particylar one was malicious. That the nurse who took the call was so upset by it she committed suicide is truly tragic, but I can't see how the djs carry any real responsibility for it. |

i see so because he apologised we should just forget his past behaviour now and never mention it again, try putting my comment in context of balancing those regarding his humanity.
as far as the 2 australians go, i didnt apportion any blame.
just provided a reminder of how tragic results can come from this sort of behaviour, and as far responsibility goes, as an adult i take full responsibilty for my actions and expect all others adults to do likewise. |

They might as well have put Russell Grant on MOTD as well.
They had pictures of Wenger on the show when he recently fell over.
It's a football highlights show not Harry Hill's tv burp. |

each to their own, the fact that on the 3rd call they made Russell Brand said "i apologise for these attacks, Andrew Sachs" gives me an indication that he knew what they were doing was out of line but continued anyway. |

I usually think he's a vile prick.
However, I think he came across well, was respectful and wasnt OTT with jokes.
They could do a guest each week. Try and stick to comedians though and make it funny |

i didnt find him too bad, on the night, just really dont like football fans that cant see anything wrong with their team.
boils my piss lol
i just dont generally 'get' him.
i agree, would be cool to have 'guest' analisers on to look over their team.
almost like the old fantasy football shows, and comedians would be awesome. |

A new show along the fantasy football line would be great.
would also be good to get more focus on lower leagues and youth football, let us see the potential stars of the future. |

dunno what you guys get north of the border, but here we have the football league show, just after motd, so the lower leagues are catered for.
as for yoof, lol, well, i have joined my teams faceache page, and they always post up match day and training vids of the u21's and u 16's so we see our yoof players all the time.
dunno if your team would cater for that with theirs? |

we get the football league show as well, which gets more air time on a saturday night than the entire Scottish league gets in a week from bbc.
Im a fan of Stirling Albion (someones got to be ) we are community owned which means not much money, but the development programme has some boys with a lot of promise. |
