This wouldn't work. The photo verification thing is not for everyone, so how would you be able to chat to someone to arrange a meet to get verified?

Photo verification doesn't mean that your "genuine"
It's really not a good idea, some memembers don't want or intend to be photo verified, doesn't mean they are not real and shouldn't mean that they have their messages restricted |

Its not really that clever an idea in reality you ask any long standing member and they will say there are probably as many verified fake profiles as unverified fake profiles. The proliferation of internet enabled phones circumnavigate the sites limitation on ip specific self verification. |

Actually, considering the amount of people willing to show their face on pics but not meeting, such a ban wouldn't be the assurance of anything.
I am not photo verified, and I am not planning to be (among other reasons, I don't have a camera!  ) but I dare you to check my veris and pretend I'm not genuine  |

It's amazing how many people think they know how the site should be run. Why aren't these people out there setting up their own much more successful sites, one wonders.
OP, you've been here 4 weeks and you are not representative of the wide range of people who use this site. What makes you think you know how the site should be run, when it's been thriving and successful for years?
I'm not photo verified. I have no intention of becoming photo verified, (for reasons I have given on other, similar threads). If the site were to insist on photo verification in order to be able to join or use it, I'd leave.
If you can explain how having members who actually do meet, some of which are site supporters, would benefit anyone, I'd love to hear it. |

There are a lot of single people on here, many of whom are quite successful, so the stats would suggest there's a place for singles here.
Too many people want to make this their exclusive little playground, banning anyone who they are not interested in.
The site serves the different interests of a lot of people, which is why partly why it's successful.
How much revenue does the site make from single site supporters do you suppose? And how much revenue is made from advertisers and affiliate sites (who have been attracted here by the large membership). |

In which case you know exactly why your proposal would not benefit the site and may well harm it.
As already mentioned, your issue is that there is too much competition here for your liking.
It's moot anyway because the mods have stated admin have no intention of making photo verification mandatory. |

If one does not like the way this site is run then do us a favour and tell the mods rather than bug the rest of us users with attention seeking threads.
And if you don't like how mods run things then you do have the option to leave.
Who is to say that someone should be photo verified other than the owner of their individual profiles? We all have free will and have the right run our profiles as we see fit in our own interest, simple as. |

As I've taken to saying quite often lately to people and in particular new people ' if you don't like it,mind the door doesn't hit your arse on the way out' what about people who don't personally own a digital camera or camera phone. I'm real, I'm verified I've just not got around to photo verifying myself yet. I might do it, them again I might not. If someone chooses not to meet me because of that I won't lose any sleep over it. You have 2 choices open to you, live with it or leave. |
