The Pope today, has told the Mafia that if they continue living the way they are they will go to hell.
If I was the Mafia, I would send a note back saying 'Keep the seat warm' |

"I like this Pope. He says things others shy away from voicing.
"
Let's see what he does in regards to the widespread pedophilia and subsequent cover ups in the catholic church |

"Catholic church is one of the biggest mafias in the world.
Lol at the pipe rktelking them they are very very naughty and won't go to heaven as if they give a fuck"
Here in Glasgow, congregations are seeing the light and voting with their feet. Parishes and churches are closing. |

The Mafia may well be some of the nastiest people on earth but at least they're not dillusional.
Heaven, Hell, afterlife...WTF?
Apparently he threatened that unless they give up their crimes they won't be able to go to that imaginary place run by his imaginary friend?
As someone else has said, the largest organised crime syndicate is the Catholic church itself...centuries of violence, intimidation, threats, coercion. All in the name of fairy tales. |

How does the vast wealth in the Catholic church sit with Christian values? He may be a breath of fresh air but is it enough? How many paintings has he sold to help the poor? How many churches are locked up at night rather than providing a refuge for the homeless? |

Why doesn't the pope have a word with his imaginary boss and ask him to smite them? Because his imaginary boss doesn't exist, or because he doesn't care. |

Or, when they DO take in the homeless (like Fr Gerry Nugent did in Glasgow with Angela Kluk), they allow their friend, Peter Tobin to abuse and then murder them. |
