How fantastic was Davinia doing this challenge for Sports Relief. Inspired by the young girl in Kenya who spent the day breaking rocks & who's two books were her most precious possessions. Makes you realise how bloody lucky we are !!!!!!

I don't think I could cycle 130 miles in one day let alone get up and do it again and again, an incredible achievement .

too go off topic a bit..ive seen how hard Davina's worked and its taken her all day to do 130miles..

cant understand how Grimmy (radio one) has done 1000 miles in a day on a bike?!

Because on a static bike there is no resistance so it's like riding downhill. That said that figure seems unbelievably high.

Back on topic I was quite dismissive of Davina after the swim stage of this. I didn't realise the swim was part of a bigger challenge and hat's off because that sort of mileage is a tough ask

I often find her annoying but I can't deny that what she did on that challenge was a huge achievement.

Hats off her for volunteering to do it and its no mean feat though like most things on TV its been edited for dramatic effect but that shouldn't take away her doing it.

The DJ, along with other celebrities, cycled more than 1,000 miles and raised more than £115,000.

There were 5 bikes going at the same time with the Radio1 thing. Although Grimmy was the only one to stay on all day.

I didnt watch the programme but know she had a hard time of it.

Nice that opinions have turned around though. A few short weeks ago she was getting slagged off on these very forums for being an attention seeking celeb who should give up.

Hope the doubters try a wee physical challenge themselves for a good cause.
