Sleepless/disturbed nights, what are your experiences?

Recently my menstruation has meant a few disturbed nights, my temperature has been up and has caused restlessness.

What has caused you to wake up and disturb your sleep?

Oh and I'll be jealous of any woman saying a probing hard cock .

I have an Internet Business as a sideline to my main job.

I promote fitness products via Google Adwords and I often wake up to check my sales.

My incredibly vivid dreams. I don't mind though because they are better than most movies I've seen and I'm the lead in them all.

The new lady in my life rang me at 01:30 this morning, telling me she was en route to my place. A short time later and we were having a very fine night in bed together. Then she left again for work at 6am, full of my gift to her ??

I never complain about being disturbed in the night.

I'm doing well if I can get to sleep in order to be disturbed or woken up.

Knowing I have a decision to make that's going to hurt someone else keeps me awake. Hate having to hurt others.

I went through a period of extraordinarily vivid dreams with lots of archetypal imagery and dramatic scenes. I was going through some deep personal changes at the time. Eventually it calmed down and my dreams became more normal again. I would wake up worn out

My dogs have been having trouble sleeping through for the last 3 days or so, I've been disturbs by barking every 2 hours or so, had to go downstairs, go through bedtime routine again, settle them and try and sleep for another hour or so

I'm so so sooooo tired.

A very nearly 4 year old that has never slept through the night since he was born. He will just wake up get out of his bed and climb in with us... would not be so bad if he kept still but he is a total fidget... We have tried everything under the sun to get him to stay in his bed but nothing works.... Hopefully once he starts school he will grow out of it.. This is the main reason we cannot accomodate for meets as you never know what time he will wake...

This is lifelong for me. I can understand the nightmares of my youth and also understand what the sub concious plays out. What is interesting is the higher conscious input.

Well, I don't really sleep much to be honest. Usually have quite late nights. Will be in bed but awake til about 3 or 4. Then, once I finally do sleep. When it hits 7am I get a text from someone saying 'morning' and then at 8am they bloody call me to say hello again and that they are off to work.

erm, thanks for that love. I know that's what your doing. Been doing that to me for years!

A rock hard memory foam mattress and poor not suitable for me pillows is the main reason, wind blowing making the doors bang another and next doors dog barking at all hours of the night another so overall have given up on the idea of a good nights sleep as guess I'm not entitled to one, obviously been a very very bad girl in a previous life

Also going to the loo in the middle of the night.

My pain killers wearing off every 2-3 hours is what wakes me up. I have to have 10 hours in bed just to get 5 hours sleep (if it's a good night).

Had insomnia for years, then I guess when my gastritis, hernia etc started rearing their ugly heads, I suffered night terrors for years with the pain. Never truly slept a night for about 6 years.

Then came the vomiting in my sleep and sleep paralysis because of that later on (waking up in the middle of a dream, not being able to move while you're hallucinating).

Bless the NHS.

Same here, only time I've slept well is after a general anesthetic & I think its a tad extreme to get more sleep

The huge 8 month bump in front of me, making turning over in bed a tactical manoeuvre. Of course once I've managed that, I then need to get up to the loo every 15 minutes.

Roll on next week when I finish work so I can get some sleep in the day!
