why doesn't stomach acid kill all nutrients? Is collagen different? I like Science,are you a real Professor? |

Stomach acid and the enzymes in your bowel break down complex protein molecules (like collagen) into simple, smaller molecules that can be absorbed. So the collagen isn't collagen any more. Studies suggest that the benefit in the college drinks may come from the added vitamins C and E.
I'm by no means a real professor - unless the school of hard knocks is handing out tenured positions! |

There's probably the same amount of skin rejuvenating properties in a good mouthful of 'baby batter' - which doesn't cost thirty quid, has a handy applicator and is available an almost limitless quantity (please allow fifteen minutes between doses). |
