Bit random I know, but my GP is a bit useless on these matters so I figure I'd try to seek somebody with personal experience!
I have a hiatus hernia, my stomach has been literally hanging by a thread. It was diagnosed two years ago and I suffered for about a year before the diagnosis.
From that point, I had to stop running and jogging, but I tried to get back into it a few times, only to have that nasty feeling of my guts uncomfortably jutting about inside me when I tried.
The docs can't stitch me up because of other problems, but I was wondering if anyone else had the same and managed to get back into running. I don't want to make the tear any bigger as I'm told it doesn't heal, but there is still no better way to burn off the fat around my chest and stomach! |
