It's the manufacturer's way of giving you 5% less for your money.
You should write a mildly sarcastic letter to the CEO / MD and tell them how grateful you are to him / her for slipping one out; you might get some vouchers!

Its soo the company makes more money off smokers the same as everything now clothes get more expensive but made with cheap materials so they don't last as long so you buy more the rich get richer the poor get poorer |

It's not compulsory to buy cigarettes. You can make the tobacco industry that little bit poorer by giving up. I don't think when people complain about the rich poor divide the amount of fags in a packet is high in the agenda. |

i know that but its not just cigarettes its everything that we buy and pay for when i was a kid a can of was 35p a fredo bar was 10p no matter what you do you will always pay tax while while big company's use off shore banks to avoid tax and mps fiddle there expenses our government is no different to the government in 3rd world places we just call it democracy instead of dictatorship but that's getting away from the ops post and a completely different topic all together |

Its promotional stuff, if the same brand killing me they went down to 5.95 for 19 for 3 months then back up to 6.25
But it obviously works coz they are still killing me |
