I often return to a thread I've posted on in the morning and its gone! What I usually do is light blue touch paper, waft my arms around a bit to get it going and then go and do something else for a bit. Sometimes I walk back into a bloody carnage, but mostly thread is either gone or they all got bored and went to bed as well
