Done all the usual, had a wank etc. Any other tips for getting to sleep? X"

Relax your body from your feet upwards, tensiog and relaxing your muscles. Ensure your breathing is slow and deep, out breaths twice as long as in breaths. The more you relax, the easier it is to unwind and prepare your mind and body to drift off. A warm drink, or bath can help too. Make sure the room is as dark as possible. If your body clock is out of synch, then it will finally adjust. Avoid bright lights, especially technologically sourced or blue lights, as these work against your body clock getting into melatonin production, which brings on sleepiness. |

My trick is to get up at 5.30am, drive to work , stare at a computer / talk shit on phone / do lots and lots of sums / attend meetings / etc etc for about 12 hours, drive to gym and workout for around an hour, go home cook / eat dinner , have shower a glass of red and BANG! Next thing you know it's 5.30am again and the bloody alarm is going off again !! No problems sleeping this end !! |

Smart Alarm App on the AppStore, did the trick for me when I had insomnia after a concussion a few weeks ago!
It has a load of Binaural sounds you can play to get you to sleep, and they work a treat, surprisingly (well, surprisingly to someone as skeptical as me!) |

Thanks guys. Especially for the suggestions which will get me either crippled or arrested. Lol
I maybe needed to be more detailed in my complaint.
I have jet lag as I am away on business in a rather lovely but nonetheless definately muslim country where alcohol is scarce and expensive and drugs come with the unfortunate side effect of sudden irreversible weight loss around the neck area if caught.
Turns out masturbating furiously was the key. As was turning on the A/C in the room to cool it down. |
