So I read today that a teacher is being charged with "breach of trust" for having "sexual relations" with two pupils aged 16 and 17 respectively.
Now to my mind, in my humble opinion, Both lads were ABOVE the legal age of consent and has a crime really been committed?..not really.
She was 26, Blonde and not bad looking.
My only problem I have with this is:
WHY THE FUCK COULDN'T SHE HAD WORKED AT MY SCHOOL!! |

Again the gender issue rears its head. A 26 year old male teacher would be publicly stoned and if the pupils were also male it would be a criminal offence, sex offenders register the lot |

"She was abusing her position of trust.
As a parent you don't expect a teacher to be taking advantage of your children.
" How I feel .. If this was my son I would have gone mad .... its her job to be a teacher in the class room not in the bed room and she did take advantage Of her job in not a good way . |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Ben, the young men may be above the age of sexual consent but they are not yet adults. The teacher would be breaching trust as she is acting in loco parentis. Do you really want them having sex with a parental figure?
Safeguarding policies and procedures go to 18 and older for vulnerable adults.
The best thing a young male teacher said to me when I was a stupid goo goo eyed girl was that he didn't have sex with silly girls only women.

Sorry a, a bit uninformed re the law regarding homosexual acts, oooops
The Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 2000, became law in January 2001 throughout the UK, and thus equalised the age of consent at 16 for both heterosexual and homosexual acts (including, for the first time, lesbian acts), except those taking place between a 16-17 year old and someone "in a position of trust" (e.g. a teacher), where the age of consent was raised to 18.
Voila, Wikipedia to the rescue |
