I fortunately don't suffer from insomnia.
I see pillow and beds, head shuts down, go sleep.
However, I suffered from insomnia when I was younger, and a deep breathing relaxation technique worked for me. |

"Painkillers.
Doing maths in my head.
A purring cat.
A soothing voice on the radio like David Attenborough"
What works best for you?
I normally just relax on my bed listening to some jazz, maybe a little lovers rock or just read a good book. |

I forgot:
Antihistamines
A book that isn't too interesting
Lying down, closing my eyes and saying over and over to myself " I must not sleep"
At the moment painkillers are keeping me asleep most of the day and night but normally if I do have problems sleeping it's due to what I've been drinking earlier. Caffeine affects me strongly so no coffee, tea or chocolate in the evening helps. |
