"What's your take on astrology?
Do you read your daily horoscope?
Does it ring TRUE to you?
If its a load of gash why is it prevalent in todays media?
"
Don't believe in that shit, us Aquarians never do. |

Just because something is prevalent doesn't mean it isn't 'gash'.
Different religions are prevalent in most societies and they can't all be true.
Some people are happy to take full control of their lives and bare personal responsibility for its outcomes. Others need to be able to blame some external forces for their lot. |

Hindus believe all roads lead to God, so why can they not be different perspectives of what is true. It is human to err. Religions are formulated by man not God, therefore there will be errors. The root of religion, ie faith is very real. Even if purely on a psychological level. |

"If its a load of gash why is it prevalent in todays media?
Because people enjoy reading it. Doesn't make it true.
Lots of people enjoy smoking, doesn't mean it's a good idea."
But smoking is a choice being an Aquarius isn't.

Astrology and astronomy used to be under the same umbrella and be revered. Unfortunately astrology (due to "entertainment", ie non-personal) has lost the reverence.
I am naturally drawn to certain zodiacal groups and get on well with only a few signs. |

I haven't read my horoscope in a long time and since I became a thinking, analytical young adult i've only read them in mad moments with friends in a mocking manner.
No they never ring TRUE although some people remain gullible and unquestioning and they will make the comparisons and truths that they wish to for various reasons.
I don't know what gash means but in context it looks as if you mean fucking bullshit. It's prevalent for various reasons. It's usually the poorly educated that cling to it ( beat me up if you wish ).
Read a little round the work of B. Forer for the forer effect.....
I like to pretend im a totally different star sign. It can be amusing when people point out that they 'knew' that or even find the characteristics of my fake sign in me .....
Tosh but Fun at times. |

Load of rubbish. They are written in such a way that those that choose to believe can pick out the bits that they relate to and believe that it is true. The bits that maybe don't quite fit they choose to ignore. |

Agree, don't basis my days on horoscopes, but think different traits are defiantly reflected from their star sign |

Do I believe in astrology?
Do I believe that roughly 580 million human beings around the world, in all kinds of different circumstances, are going to have eerily similar experiences on the same day purely because their birthdays are close together?
No. |

The fact I have mentioned errors should suggest that not ALL traits of ALL religions are true.
In fact the nearest religion to my own spiritual views would be Hindu. My experiences have formulated my views and I knew almost zero about Hinduism before learning about it in my latter years.
My view of Jesus, Mohammed, Gandhi, Jung is that they are all sons of God just like we are ALL children of God. Even Shipman, Hitler, Attila etc. |

Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
Don't believe in astrology, crystals, dream catchers, any religion, ghosts, the afterlife, previous lives, UFOs, the Bermuda Triangle, fairies at the bottom of the garden or sock elves who steal one of each pair from the washing machine.
I tend to prefer rational explanations. And where none can explain something it just means it hasn't been discovered or worked out yet. |

"Just for the record.
I am NO child of God.
"
Ditto - and neither am I a 'son' of God. Or a daughter.
I'm part of a chain reaction of life which began with the primordial ooze millions of years ago.
Some time on a Sunday.
Around tea time.
In December.
So I think that makes us all Saggitarius, doesn't it?
Or is it Capricorn? I dunno - what traits do the human race have which will fit the correct star sign? |

People hold different beliefs for different reasons. A lot of them sound silly to you or me but if it gives someone else comfort then it can only be a good thing right? I don't believe in God, I try and explain my purpose on earth by other means I.e procreating and raising a better man/woman than myself, if someone else believes their purpose on earth is to give themselves to god and in doing so raises a better man/woman than themselves then we have both achieved the same through different means. |

As a libra, I weighed up both arguments.
I decided it was all horseshit.
How can your future be defined solely by the month you were born?
Of course everyone has traits of their star sign because they are so generic that you will find something to identify with whilst ignoring the fact that 95% of it did not apply.
Having said that. Mystic Meg is about the most truthful and realistic part of the Sun newspaper. |

Nah, i don't really. Doesn't mean anything to me and stuff like that i wouldn't let impact my life. I don't know much about it. But for me, being born in December wouldn't make any difference to who i am/how i am to if i was to be born in March.
...i think my personality and my view point in life is much more influenced by all the things i have gone through in life and all the experiences that i've had. I mean, i may be 24. But, i've gone through a lot of shit you know - and in my opinion it ain't due to no star signs.

I'm an undiscovered star...or i might be a black hole...
so no..
if I went into it i probably could give some scientific ddefinitions why I know the stars and our very being are linked...but as we dont know enough about the universe as it is...I wont go into the quantum world that I'm aware of |

Makes no sense at all to me - I can't see any way that astrology can possibly work....
So why is it that I always fall for the same star signs - always get confused by the same ones, and always end up at war with the same group...????

well maybe its because we are just part of a big galactic war, eventually galaxies collide etc etc etc...we cant be that much different from the very forces that govern our existence, if u think of it in a very very grand scale,
our lives hold little impact on the universe itself...but we(and I believe) are quite special, in the fact we can change our environment by observing it |

"Do any of you guys believe in black magic?
"
perhaps in the quantum terms black magic exists..it might be something we can detect, but it doesnt actually appear to interact with the logical world.
ghosts, beliefs etc...are all some kind of black magic
it COULD be possible, some people can change their or or reality..even after they are 'dead'
in fact does anyone truly ever die??
My imprint might affect people 100's of years after my death...in doing so, I have thus cheated death in ways, perhaps thats why we remember our passed away relatives etc
question urself why princess diana's death affected someone 100's of miles away, she hadnt even interacted with them...but she may have changed how that person leads their life now |

Some religions view astrology as a diversion created by the devil. Black magic is usually understood to be a form of magic that is used for selfish or evil purposes, as opposed to white magic with is all about nice, fluffy stuff.
Personally, I find astrology to be a fairly harmless form of entertainment. If people believe it, it's up to them. Daily horoscopes are pretty stupid though.

I remember a few years ago another constellation being discovered which would make 13 'houses'. russel grant and the other fraudsters explained it away thus. "err..... we don't include that one....because we didn't know it was there." so from that we can say either only a select few stars effect our nature, or we are effected only by what we know. which is it russel? |

I know my star sign and my daughters (her birthday is the day after mine) but I have no idea what Mrs P's is or my sons. My son is nearly nineteen now and as far as I know he has no idea what his sign is. I have never read a horoscope and I have no idea what the characteristics of my sign are. |

There are some spooky co-incidences which correlate with my star sign.
But there are spooky co-incidences in other areas of my life too.
I certainly don't believe there are only 12 possibilities for what people worldwide will experience on any given day!
I sometimes read my horoscope. And then disregard it totally. |
