I don't know about anyone else but i love the forum topics, that really divide people. The most recent one being The Miners Strike. I find myself reading them and really thinking some people talk sense, and some people talk a load of bollocks. I love the fact that whatever someone's opinion, that they are passionate about it and will fight their corner regardless. My wife has banned me from discussing religion, politics and imigration when we are with friends... Some topics i will dive into others i will watch from afar. If i post a topic i like to think that it will provoke adult debate( although admittedly i will post some silly ones). I find the ones that are to do with sex a bit samey(ironic as this is a swingers site). I use the forums as a way of looking at people and thinking would i like this person, would i like to meet them purely knowing we good have a good debate, or thinking i would never get on with this person we think to differently..

what do others think?

I really admire the passion of people and still miss Wishy

I have been educated on topics and that is great.

My only dislike is the have's v's the have nots, the constant slagging off of people who have money. It is not balanced, but hey...

The same people post a lot of shit, myself included. But I don't post stupid topics.

I'm here for the forums more than anything else, just wish people didn't take it so serious at the wrong times.

I'd like to think I have learned from other peoples opinions as it has opened up new angles and shed new light.

Its always the members that make the forum and its a good forum/s.

I think you get a real feel for people from the forums. We may miss out on people because we think we would clash, when in reality we probably wouldn't, but that is the chance you take

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It was a serious thread that got me interested in the forum. I enjoy a good debate. I like some daft stuff and I find it interesting to see new people develop (Mr. G. Thump always signing off Ben when started comes to mind).

I've done two years now and miss some people who have left. I have met some people because of the forum and have enjoyed making friends.

Thank you. I guess I'll never be a comedian.

Although I guess if I got a job as a comic, I'd have a right old beano.

I love it too, perhaps masochistically I enjoy the people who are vocal and polar opposites the most as you can have a great debate.

And yes it's a great place to find potential meets as you get an insight into how peoples minds work and how they communicate.

I like people that aren't afraid to say what they think, even if it goes against the general consensus. I love the banter. I can't think of any poster that I dislike. Even if I disagree with someone, their opinion is still valid.

It's all good.

There's nothing intrinsically wrong in having money, provided its honestly aquired.

It's what some people do with the money which attracts condemnation.

Iv been on here a while now over a yr in fact an before that was on a very similar site But have been on quite a few over the yrs an have alway used forums an quite possibly always will. I love the banter an even more so when you get a cuple of ppl that just bounce off each other on many occasions I've had tears rolling down my face an a aching jaw from laffing to much. My only real pet hate is the spelling police an for quite a while i was completely unable to stop myself snapping right back at them as the ability to spell has no relation to intelligence whitch on the whole seams to completely pass them by but more often than not gives me the perfect opportunity prove there own stupidity but now am much more chilled in that area. My only other very minor gripe is some ppls lack of a sence of humour. For me the forum is the main reason im on here maybe its my age or just experience but 1 nighters really aren't my thing as I find the best an most intense kind of sex is between 2 ppl that really know each other an the days of my cock ruling my head are thankfully very much over not that I think any less of those that think other wise its just not for me. The peaple I have met on here are now very much ppl I consider as friends an with out the forums that really would have never happened so basically love me or hate me is very much your choice but the simple fact is im going know where soon

Same here , I guess I often say what I think and it often goes against the consensus . This has possibly alienated me amongst some . But those who see through the initial slightly arrogant way I may have come across , will hopefully realise there is never any malice intended .

It can be frustrating when you make a point , and it's ignored , or the thread is hijacked , but as time goes by it's easier to see it for what it is .

I love the forums and often comment. Hubby is a lurker and has never commented. It depends what mood I am in as to what I comment. Sometimes I like to give advice or stick up for people being bullied. Sometimes I have my naughty head on and without being rude, say what I want to without worrying what others think. But these forums are strangely addictive.

I love the forums too.

They are great when everyone is playing nice but sometimes people get a bit personal and thats when I get a bit upset by it even though I know thats ridiculous because they are strangers. ...

But those few who chat on here and have met me in real life say I am a lovely kind person and much nicer in real life (!) so I try to hold on to reality but sometimes people can be mean on here....and I get a bit wound up then

Most of the time most people are lovely though....and I have learnt a lot from just chatting here!

But you can only get a feeling for soneones personality from here. You make a decision about wether they are your kind of person or not. The written word is great, but like you say it could be read as being arrogant, when the intonation when written was anything but.

I love the forums, partly due to the thought expanding topics people post about, and the lighter side. It is good to see humour anytime, and there is a good amount here. Im still a little shocked by some opinions that seem to defy logic or reason. Ive seen the occasional person I probably would not get on with, but who knows? The repetitive topics can be tedious, as can people having a go at others, or anyone who thinks they are above others. Anything that is too much like facebook I largely avoid. Overall, forums add a lot to fab, and glad it and us are here.
