I personally cannot see the attraction as I hate violence and aggression in any shape or form but I do see it as valuable outlet for others. Same with football, rugby etc..? |

I've been a boxing fan sit I was knee high
My dad was a boxer and I used to watch all the greats on tv with him
Its so sexy all that raw violence

I like manly me, too but for me.. and I know that is a personal choice, that macho image does not come through fighting. We have evolved and for me it is intelligence and wit everytime - brains over brawns so to speak, but having said that, I agree with you to a degree as I do like it when my partner takes control |

This is the bit where I am having difficulties. Now in the swinging scene I can and will dominate men when I feel like it and it is fun for all (hopefully)
But I dont think I could be with a submissive man as a partner - would kind of bore me a bit I think?
I love my partner to be strong and manly and protective of me, totally agree, and as a woman you do sense very quickly who is genuinely strong and powerful and who is not, would you agree, female forumites? |

I do Jiu Jitsu not karate, and as for fighting cars, those days are behind me know, I've sorted out my yen and I am at peace with everyone.... yeah right |

know too many cage fighters and mma fighters, both in a friendly and a bed buddy capacity and to be frank they bore me!! its all trainin this , doin that, blah blah!!

Just because a man enjoys a bit of rugged male competition doesn't make him violent and aggressive - there's a big difference between refined strength and mindless violence.
Personally, I see it like this. Historically males have played the role of provider and protector, women the home keeper and emotional provider, and this is why I believe that the idea of lesbian sex has a much wider appeal amongst men than gay sex does amongst women, and likewise man on man fighting is more popular with both genders than women on women, I personally HATE watching ladies trying to hurt one another. |
