Just had a bath and pamper session at three am, one because a naughty man had been sexting me, two because I couldn't sleep, and three because I could do as I pleased!

What positive things do you take from being single and answering to no-one?

Pm me ya number and I'll sext ya

I started 2 threads last year about living on your own (1 got locked due to misquotations).

I enjoy the freedom it gives you to do what you what you want whenever you want, but on the downside I miss the cuddles & kisses and discussing how your day has been.

I also like cooking but it's not much fun on your own if it's not going to be appreciated by anyone else

Brigadoon

I have the best of both worlds. On my own most of the time and can do what I please but have my fella once a month to do things together.

Leaving the bathroom door open

Walking round the house naked.

All of the duvet.

Sprawling across the bed diagonally.

The remote control

The last rolo.

I don't have most of those benefits because i have cats. In some ways they are worse than men.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Eat what I like, listen to what I like, watch what I like, all when I like.

Oh, and having a double bed (and duvet) all to myself

This the downside being talking to yourself and not having someone to snuggle up to on the sofa

I can flirt at lesuire,,

I like putting a book down & it still being in the same place when I retururn to it,,& not having to tidy up my paints, brushes or canvasses yippee...

I dont like sleeping on my own,& not having someone to love & adore..

I can't put anything down knowing it will be there when I want it. I envy people who live alone for that but I would be scared to be on my own at night

To be honest I cannot think of anything positive to say about not being single! I love my single life and wouldn't change it for the world. I don't want to be in a relationship or live with anyone. I agree totally with all the positives that everyone above has mentioned, (in particuar the peace and quiet aspect) and when i feel the need for a cuddle or sex, I just come onto fab and arrange something

I agree with the above, I have all the freedom I want, I'm married, husband puts me on a pedestal, always has always will!!!

If I'm happy he's happy

I don't like the thought of being single and lonely.

Kisses n cuddles in bed, rock!!! Xx

I've forgotten what it's like to live on your own as my best friend lives with me....He does my head in at times but I like company however I also love when he goes out to see his bit of stuff then it's what I want to watch on the tv...can have a meet or do whatever...However I do miss having that someone special in my life...I have chapters full of great memories and friends...however I want to create a new chapter with pictures of rug rats etc...

Plus eating what you like when you like

Not having to clean anyone else's mess

Can't wait till my son moves out to really enjoy the single life

Not having to hear "who's that woman you were talking to?"

Staying out till the early ours without hearing "what time do you call this?"

That kinda thing.

London

I enjoyed being single, I enjoy my own company and I'd be here forever extolling the joys. I have a boyfriend and he's due to move in and I'm struggling at the thought of sharing my space, but he's here most of the time anyway.

I think some people protest too much as last month some of the same people on this thread were weeping into their meals for one on Valentines day, depressed at being alone!
