Thanks. These tests are to ensure her blood levels of various enzymes are back to normal. She's been quite poorly but is much better now and almost back to herself. I'm hopeful her blood results will be ok this time.
She's going to be cross with me though. And I'll be looking at around an £120 bill to go with her sulk. |

" I put some new face cream on yesterday and have woken up trying to flay myself with my fingernails
Antihistamines and a drowsy day for me, can't drive on the damn things either. "
The skin on my face has been acting up for months and I can't find anything to help it. Whatever I try either causes more of a reaction or doesn't help and leaves me dry and scaly, which is nice.
You have my sympathy. I hope you feel better soon. |

Ultrabalm from lush is unlikely to irritate. It's my goto when everything else has set ny eczema off.
And in other news does anyone have a use for a pot of Olay essentials sensitive care with just one dollop out of it? |

I found Olay to be one of the worst for bringing me out in a rash. Have you tried E45? |

E45 is too greasy, doesn't sink in and causes spots when I use it on my face.
Back to the simple. But why don't they do a richer formulation for dryer skin?! |

It doesn't irritate but it does nothing to alleviate the dryness.
I'm using an Avene calming cream at the moment and slathering about an inch of cocoa butter rich night cream on every night.
Several weeks since I started that, I'm still scaly on my eyelids, forehead, the sides of my nose and my chin.
I really hate my skin sometimes! |

Boots have a specific "intolerant skin" section under the healthy skin section of their website. You'll probably find something richer there. And there are reviews of a lot of the products. |

Try an oil. I use ylang ylang or extra virgin coconut oil. The coconut oil I use as an all over body moisturiser as well as my face. The ylang ylang is a few drops massaged in before bed |
