Love MCR but I'm not EMO
Love Mettalica but I'm not metal
Love RATM but I'm not alternative
I just like the music I like and don't want to be pigeon holed, but if you want to chat about music then I'll be happy to....., |

"Loves the alternative look/lifestyle.
That reminds me, when do you want your Richard Clayderman CD back? "
Never thought that anyone would know Richard CLayderman on this side of the channel He's quite a joke for us in France as well...
And "alternative" (even if I hate this label) guy here |

"What's an Emo?
Someone who wears their hair in front of their faces and cries about how hard life is.
So, it's the same as a twat then? "
No because emos let you know through cutting themselves and poetry. |

Mmm Emo for me would be My chemical romance and paramore which I like and I also like Papa roach, sum 41, puddle of mud and system of the down to name some off the top of my head, but I don't know where they are in, emo or metalish, but I don't like the newer shouty shouty rock, or whatever it's Called. |

"Alt-Fest is a definite, may do a day ticket to see Prodigy at Sonisphere as we can;t afford the full weekend"
ahhh we considered sonisphere but hate it when they run both download and sonisphere as all the good bands get split between the two festivals :s x |

"Sonisphere line up pisses all over Download. Can't wait "
I hit sonisphere 2/3 years ago now when the big four smashed the show on the friday. Was genuinely the greatest line up over the weekend to date with slipknot closing on Sunday.
Of course love Mastodon, if you couldnt tell lol other than that good music is my music :0 |

dont count ourselves as emo , goth or alternative.
however, we like leather and lace
like good music
like bikes
we dont have labels, further from our gender.
after that life is our own choice.
wish my lawn was emo, so it would cut itself |

Agreed. They were awesome at Ozzfest back in 2001.
None of the festival line ups are doing it for me at the moment, the bands I like are scattered across them very sparingly. |
