What thoughts come to mind when you watch the Paralympics?
For me it's:
Admiration for those who didn't sit back and focus on what they can't do. What fucking awesome people they are..... "I'm blind - fuck it I want to ski" "I have no legs - fuck it I want to play ice hockey" ... fucking awesome!
Praise for the guides. No medals for the guides, no personal glory, many putting their life on hold to be there to make the dreams of another person possible. How wonderfully selfless they are. |
