what is it with this site?
ive been looking at a few profiles this morning and there was one in Bexhill which I know for certain is a good 30 miles from me
yet according to fabs is within 10 miles
wtf????
someone clearly didn't pay attention in geography lol |

Distance works on 1st half of postcode they enter. This isn't shown.
Their location is as they enter it. They can enter whatever they like.
They may enter a nearby place to their actual postcode. Or they may enter a postcode that's not related to their actual location.
Either way, it's probably not worth worrying about

Perhaps they put their location as the next town over but put their actual postcode in. So the location you see is a decoy but they're really just ten miles away.
Plenty of people who live in small communities do this type of thing for anonymity. |

"To be fair I went to a grammar school and we didn't specifically learn how far Bexhill is from Tunbridge Wells. We did learn about rock formations though if that helps."
