Nope! I tend to be a bit perverse like that and if some body tells me I must read a book, see a film etc. it makes me avoid them like the plague......I am aware that this is daft

Yep I read this book a few years ago as all my friends were raving about it but to be honest I found it a disappointing read....

Good book, quite good film. Ann Hathaway is much prettier than the character is described. Surprise ending too.

Never heard of 'One Day'... and haven't read 50 Shades either. Didn't appeal to me at all.

"Never heard of it. "

Ditto! Having said that, usless it`s about railways, tractors or Land Rovers it`s highly unlikely I would read it! Last book I read was A Street Cat Named Bob. I only read the book because I was given it but it`s a lovely read!

Started reading but couldnt get into it and gave up, watched the film and enjoyed it but not one I feel the need to watch again, I do remember Anne Hathaway wore a beautifully tailored (navy I think!) dress in Paris in the film!! The dress made more of an impression than either the book or the film.

Near Bristol

I've read the book and it was okay. I'm not in a hurry to see the film as I imagine it to be made in a similar vein to Love Actually or About a Boy.
