be alive.
I've had a cracking afternoon. Had a run to the tip, been to visit relatives (all out), been to see a mate (he was out, but as the bounder should have been in, I've barricaded his drive with wheelie bins), had a nice walk in the wood, watched a bit of Game of Thrones and now I'm cooking some gammon.
What's made today lovely for you? |

walking in the sunshine in a favourite part of the countryside, sitting on a bench eating a banana (N.B. not some hideous euphemism) and drinking hot chocolate from a flask, just feeling the sun on our faces |

Drove to Manchester to have breakfast and a chin wag with my daughter.
Drove her and her O.H. into the City.
Drove home and girly shopped.
Home to make Choc Cake.
Washed some woollen garbs and hung them on the line for the first time in months.
Took the draft excluder ( sticky tape ) from around the back door.
Took my Sacred Bamboo, Hostas , Box plants and Geraniums from behind the bushes and placed them in their Summer spots.
Drank Coffee and Read a chapter of a novel.
Oh ...have every door n window open ... bliss. |

They are great. However don't leave them in their hole, be sure to take them down. Mine rusted away in the hole and on one breezy summer's day it broke off and the washing flew across the garden into the border. Had to wash all the clothes again and had nowhere to dry them afterwards. |

I've achieved loads. Done 5 hours of my paid work, done some housework, let the kids play out with their friends for the first time this year, used my washing line for the first time in ages, roasted a leg of lamb.....life is good. More sun please!! |

We went to the garden centre bought peas, a clematis and a nice pot. Had a lovely Sunday lunch there too. Came home potted the plants.
Took the dog out for her walk back home feet up a nice cup of tea watching a film.
Definitely don't think my day was as busy as Tina's. |

Then I went and had a nice little hack on a classy horse who was up on his toes, still with bare arms in a t-shirt....bliss! |
