Why do people say they are going to attend a social, then not turn up?
We held a social last night, great people turned up and we had a fabulous time. So many people missed out!!! |

Ah I thought you meant like a pub social. Yes they should let you know, that's really rude not to. I certainly wouldn't invite them again.

People fail to realise that they should be equally polite even to strangers.
In a way they did you a favour as, if they are that impolite, you really wouldn't want them in your home. |
