Starting on the jaeger bombs at 5pm after a very emotional funeral probably wasn't my best idea...actually it wasn't my idea but still I didn't put up much of a fight...
My head hurts!!!
So what's everyone got planned for the weekend!?? X |

Today I will be mostly crocheting squares for a blanket with the new wool that arrived yesterday, steeping orange peel and chillies in vodka for the social and watching some of the backlog on my sky+.
Exciting weekend eh! |

Yes!! What wool??? I am all things wool/crochet obsessed and a granny square blanket is my next project once I finish the infinity scarf in making my mum for Mother's Day. In fact that sounds like a brilliant weekend to me!! |

I have tidying, sorting, organising and cleaning to do, along with some laundry and other household chore things.
I also need to do a bit of searching online for a few things, (can anyone recommend strong storage bags for out-of-season and spare bedding? I also need some vacuum storage bags that don't stop holding a vacuum after a week).
I'm reading a good book, so I may have a soak in the bath and read a bit.
And I have a couple of craft projects to work on and some films to watch, if I have time/feel like it.
I felt a bit gloomy and demotivated yesterday but I'm full of vim and vigour today. |

My mum is into knitting and goes to various knit and natter groups. One of her friends is in the process of setting up an online business selling wool and things woolcraft related. I was round there a few days ago and saw what is referred to as "the stash". She has £10 000 of wool taking up half her house at the moment! That's a lot of wool. Even I felt inspired. |

Wool warehouse have got an offer on a selection of wool connected to the attic 24 blog.
It's much cheaper than buying it elsewhere. And it arrived really quickly.
I got a crash course in granny squares by Lucy from attic 24 in a cafe recently. Since my concentration levels have been screwed by my treatment I'm not reading as much as I used to and this is a productive way to pass the time, especially sat in hospital waiting rooms!
I've actually got two blankets on the go, one is big single colour squares with seven colours and a linking colour, the other is multi coloured squares linked in cream. It keeps me off the street corners. |

Jaeger bombs are yuck. You wake up stinking of the stuff because half of it end up all over your face.
I hope you sent whoever's funeral it was off in style though Hottie. Ju buried her best friend this week and she's very down at the moment.
Today I have an appointment with the hygienist and then I'm taking my daughter for her first pair of grown up spectacles. She's quite looking forward to it, I'm not looking forward to the bill. |
