I'm shooting Stiff Little Fingers in a couple of weeks time...it'll be the first time I've seen then since 1981!

Seen SLF loads of times and the damned.

Their guitarist used to be on here lol met him a couple of times.

They are from close to me, seen them play live at Rebellion festival, the punk festival held at Blackpool.

Worth going along to if you like punk

Used to hold the punk festival in my pub in poulton before the winter gardens in Blackpool had it.

Had bands like goldblade, uk subs, boredom a.d., the briefs, drex.

Miss those days, punks were always the best customers we had

Can I suggest a sawn-off shotgun from about 10 feet away? Should be able to hit all of them.

I can get them all with a 24-70 f2.8 and it's a lot less messy! If I want to get up close, I'll use the 85 f1.4

Gaye Advert fueled many of my teenage nocturnal emissions. Along with Debbie Harry and Joan Jett.

The cockney rejects appeared on TOTP and they were hardly middle class. I've seen many of the punk bands live my favourites being the cockney rejects, peter and the test tube babies and the exploited. Watty Buchan is quite ill at the moment.

I was too young to see the original punk bands live, but I've always had a soft spot for the Clash and the early( pre-pop) Adam and the Ants

The rejects were as wrking class as you can get.The Angelic upstarts also appeared on TOTP and are also very working class

A lot of the first-wave of punks were Art School, rather than strictly middle class. What followed, tended to be very working class; and a lot (not all) of the subtlety went away too.

Not exactly punk, but The Stranglers are currently on their 40th anniversary tour. I'll be seeing them in B'ham on Saturday, and Holland and France next month.

Was tempted on Stranglers last week but jet Black is a rarity and with no Hugh Cornwell its not the same.

Toy Dolls were in Bristol last November and wanted to see them but Gary Numan was performing the same night

I'll be shooting them (and The Boomtown Rats) at a festival in a couple of months.

Saw them a couple of years ago at a Triumph day at Mallory Park; I was a bit skeptical about seeing them without Cornwell but they were great.
