What do they mean where you are?

Here it seems to be green = go, amber = go quickly and red = go on then, just five more cars!

I nearly got side swiped twice on my way to work and it's only a five minute drive, and it's not like my car is inconspicuous. No one can say "sorry, I didn't see you" it's over six feet high, with spot lights on it and sounds like world war three is rolling down the road!

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights,

No matter where they've been.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights,

But only when they're green.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights,

No matter where they've been.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights,

But only when they're green.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

That is what I said.

I Like traffic lights

I Like traffic lights

I Like traffic lights,

But not when they are red.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights.

That is what he said.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights.

He likes traffic lights,

But not when they are red.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights,

Although my name's not Bamber.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I Like traffic lights.

I-- Oh, God!

Up on them there hills

Do you live in Jo'burg?

You never stop at red or else you get shot, that and everyone else who is on green is expecting you to shoot through........

Amazing! From other threads I'd concluded that while cyclists disregard them all motorists observe them without fail. But clearly motorists do too, who'd have thought it...

Ambers seen as a challenge by a lot of drivers.............usual attitude of 'it's only just red as I go through, it doesn't matter'

Hmmm do I dectect a Monty Python fan.

Nice to see this is about cars jumping lights, anyone that does it is stupid as they will do it one time too many and cause an accident.

Stopped on amber (went red as i rolled to the line) only to have THREE vehicles come from behind & blast through on red at a large 4-way junction on Wednesday, but its OK because only cyclists jump reds....

only been through a red light once and that was because i mis judged the speed i was going. If id have slammed my breaks on it would have caused the bar behind me to go up my arse too.

so yes i went through and so did the car behind me

Central

Red to me is always stop. Amber it depends on how far through I am - if you've just started crossing, and it's wet, you'd slide half way across the junction and block it.

Dangerous and poor drivers need stopping and training. Lots more education and testing for drivers would raise a lot more tax - sorry, I'm not really a fan of tax, but having to spend money would improve driving no end. Plus testing etc would increase employment rates.

The truck driver going around the roundabout on junction 9 of the A1M this morning at around 7.50 obviously thinks that the red traffic light means "ahh fuck everyone else I'm in a big truck and I'm not stopping" ! For reference he was about 500mm away from my front wing! Twat!!
