Wondering is that puts off if you ask someone (woman/couple) "can I add you here" after chatting for a while?
One woman blocked me for asking, 2 couples just blanked me
Is that rude to ask? Am I doing wrong? help me please |

Thanks for the help missmo66 much appreciated.
This afternoon when I asked one woman she just replied 'PK' and blocked me. I was like what have I asked?? Strange. |

It says on my profile I only add those I intend getting jiggy with but Id rather be asked politely than be sent a random invite from a stranger. I find that rude. Carry on with being polite and asking first OP |

Definately not rude to ask. Ask yourself do you actually want to meet someone who has that attituse. Well not us. |

Block them? No. We wouldn't do that but everyone is different.
Many people still ask us to accept the request assuming we'll add them, only for us to tell them that will not be the case.

I find It happens mostly in chat and I do sometimes find it slightly annoying as the first line of our profile states we only add people we've met.
That said its not a blocking offence for us and like others have said I'd rather be asked politely than be sent random requests from people we've never spoken to. |

Getting random requests I think are the most amnoying for people on here. For me if I get asked after just a few exchanges the answer is" not an option"
I have explained in the past on my profiles how you get to be added to the list but gave up as it got ignored anyway.
Only way you get on list is if we have had a chat on the phone and both still wish to meet. |

We get sick of the lazy single guy syndrome .. send friends request without even common decency to message at all .. I know some single guys do put effort into initial messages and we always reply even if its a thanks but no thanks ... curteousy costs nothing and sometimes reap rewards ... |

"I have no problem with being asked..in fact I don't mind random...they are easy enough to ignore and make me feel popular
One random request sent. If I'm ignored we'll be falling out "
It's not that random really.....check your friend list |

Well for your information I get quite a few friends requests from couples who don't message first who are just as guilty as committing the same atrocities as the much maligned single male. |

Just out of interest......what's the motivation behind the friends request?
To see more pics? If so - just ask if they'd PM some.
So you can see when they're online easier? Add them to your hotlist - does the same job.
Or was a meet likely?
If not the latter - then a friends request can seem a bit presumptuous to some who'll assume you just want to see additional photos.

Only polite to ask first.
We don't usually ask or accept until we think it's going somewhere, but wouldn't block someone just because they've asked and we weren't ready. |

It's just I'm a non member here and my inbox can only hold certain amount of messages. I thought if I add her I wouldn't loose her cos we were discussing to meet in April. But I found out what actually 'hotlist' does only before so I will hotlist them in the future. Thanks for your help bud |
