You can get some Dioralyte from the chemist to rehydrate, but other than that nothing for 24 hrs, then dry toast and bovril for 24 hrs, then you can eat light food like plain fish or chicken and fruit and stuff and should be OK. |

Due to an ongoing problem with my esophogus I'm unable to have solid food at the moment... I can get "ridiculously" excited about mash and gravy and Greek yogurt. Its really horrible having no appetite though... ..... |

Don't waste money on dioralyte,it tastes like shit anyway lol really diluted squash made with warm water and a pinch of salt in it will keep you hydrated.
If you have it for more than 3 days consult a Dr. Ring though as if they suspect its norovirus they won't want you in the surgery.
Simple and bland is the key food wise. Toast, eggs etc |

When I had norovirus I just didn't eat for 3 days and sipped water very very slowly just a tiny sip now and then to keep from dehydrating too much at once it'll come out again.
Just keep your fingers crossed that it's only one end at a time, coz that's when the fun really starts  |
