I've got an electric oven, it's a double one so mini oven /grill up top and oven underneath. The main oven isn't heating up, it turns on but is only blowing out cool air. The mini oven up the top is ok.

Sounds very like the element has gone. If youre lucky maybe only a loose wire at the back of the oven connecting the element which will be less expensive to fix. .
Once fixed though it will be reliable again. Hope you get it sorted! |

Not sure of the model of your oven, but the ovens I supply to my customers vary between 15 to 30
Very easy to fit don't be put off.
All these tests are done with cooker disconnected from power eg unplugged or wires removed from wall
Do not do this with cooker connected to electric as you may die
If you have a test meter test the element by disconnecting cooker etc from electric supply
Take back of cooker of remove wires from oven element and test the element with test meter ,
No continuity means broken real easy to swap over,
Continuity could mean switch , put test meter across live and earth at input of power, with wires for element joined together , you get continuity when you switch oven on and no continuity when you switch it of switch is ok .
No continuity definitely thermostat or broken wire, |

Get an 'electrical handyman' type of guy in just to be safe. He shouldnt charge much to fit, mine was £50 all in and in your case, you never know  he could be a fitty straight out of a diet advert. Or worst case scenario a Fray Bentos pie advert |

Fox's bust the other week.
I got a new element on ebay for £12.99 and it took 25 mins to fit.
Now works like new!
Just whack the make/model into ebay with 'element' after it!  |
