Its well known just how badly single males outnumber women on sites like this, is there anything sites like this could do in order to encourage more females to join and participate in swinging? |

The funny thing is, I actually found dating sites were as good as if not better for swinging than swinging sites. I attributed this to them not attracting as many males who thought they could get easy sex just by signing up, as a result I had to wade through far less guys to be able to chat to a woman. |

I think the dating sites just attract far more women than men, so it's the men who are spoiled for choice, yes, and they behave very badly on the whole because of it. It depends which site you go to of course, but places like POF became little more than a hook-up site and definitely had a reputation as such with young men. I know good-looking young guys on there who'd been meeting someone different each week for years. |

I rejoined POF a few weeks ago and am finding it hard work actually, especially after guys on here talk about how easy it is constantly. I must be doing something wrong but I can't say I'm bothered enough to dedicate time/effort into it.

Pof is great fun for meeting very local women. And the women are easily converted to fab. |

Haha, it's you making the ratio even worse then!! Actually I've had several guys I know from POF turn up here too so I think it has a growing 'reputation'. It's so funny to be hit on by someone you have um, 'met' who doesn't realise it's you without your face!!

I've been considering returning to POF for a while now, but every time I return I'm thrown off by the ridiculous number of menus you have to fill IN THEIR ENTIRETY to create a profile - mind though, I suppose this is the intention, don't make it quick and easy to sign up in order to discourage those who aren't serious about dating. |

Yes, they're trying to 'redeem it for the righteous', one reason they stopped people more than 14 years apart from talking to each other - which excluded my biggest fan base from contacting me!! |

dont you mean you found it far easier to get no strings sex on dating sites, rather than found it easier to swing on dating sites, as we all know, swinging isnt just about no strings sex.

I think all adult contact sites have been blended and diluted into all the same thing now
Sometimes I feel as though im on match.com and im married!
Other times I feel im on POF by mistake

Why is it the sites job to encourage people to participate in swinging?
Surely it's down to individual choice? If someone chooses to 'swing' they can then decide how - either via a website such as this or via the club scene.
The notion that a website should go recruiting is wrong - and would only result in attracting those who wish to misuse and abuse the site.
A bit like guys using a 'dating website' to actively seek NSA sex and casual encounters.
It simply encourages people to bullshit and say anything to get what they seek - rather than use a particular site for it's intended purpose. |
