I keep seeing a warning to Sidney university. What is it that they have done? Can anyone shed any light on it or are people just copy and pasting?

Titz Towers, North Notts

I've never met anyone called Sidney University. However, I did used to know a girl called Alice Springs Poly.

I know it's not panto season yet....but "Oh yes it is!!"

"We've noticed a legal disclaimer paragraph that some people have on their profiles. Should we have one too? What are they about? Do they do any good?

The "legal disclaimer" is pointless nonsense and all does is take up extra space on our servers. Please remove it if you have it on your profile. If you're worried about privacy please set your account to be hidden from non-registered users on your privacy page (this also hides it from search engines but may take a week or two to drop out of search) and remove the notice (and encourage others to do likewise).

Common sense advice would be NOT to put any information on your profile (here, or on any such site) that could identify you or that you don't want to become public! So for your own benefit, don't post phone numbers, real names or email / instant message addresses on your profile that people might see or "Google".

Some people may put non-identifying pics on their public profile but keep face pics private or for friends, for example."

Sydney University is a Fabswingers urban myth. Over the years the story has got twisted and warped but the original story is about a guy on here who was actually called Sydney University. He was a good friend of mine but because of his actions, wasn't the most popular and eventually Syd was hounded out of the site. You see he was the very first Picture Collector and Time Waster. Before him they didn't even have a name for it. He pioneered the technique.

Now Syd is just a horror story that swingers tell each other at bedtime to frighten one another.

True story!

It's Birmingham University that's doing the research. They've recognised a high density of fuckers in the area

Sidney university used to be famous for research into the sex trade, people's sex lives and sex in general.

I'll try again and assume if it's deleted someone is up to something.

All social media sites are under observation this is no different.

Don't worry about Sidney Uni worry about spooks in USA/UK looking for filth on people to use and control.

The gutter press posing as "swingers" to catch unwary famous people.

The Police looking for criminal activity.

This is happening on all social media sites I even sussed some nosey characters working for "who ever" on a motorcycle site.

The internet WAS a window on the world it's now a two way mirror with people and organisations gathering info on every one of us.
