Some people read too much into verifications. I meet people socially first, if they turn up and are a laugh we'll get on. I've had some great meets with people who weren't verified and some bad ones with guys that had several. I don't go too much on them to be honest, I take people as I find them. |

The problem is others finding offence with someone else's profile/ life what the fuck has it too do with anybody else? See, I could put a different spin on this particular situation. If someone were to contact me, actively wanting to meet me, as their first meet in three years I would feel particularly honoured that they had chosen me to meet with - because whatever their circumstances (having taken a break, being very particular etc) that they saw something in me which made them want to get to know or to play with me.
Not everyone is duty bound to use this site in the same way and there isn't any ruleset (as far as I am aware) which dictates that you must have a minimum number of meets every x months in order to attain any sort of valid status on this site, or the community as a whole. |

There could be many reasons, for example, illness. Our last veri is a year old, as I took some time out for a relationship.
Why should I have to explain that on our profile, it's no one else's business.

We don't understand this either , and as we have said before , it's sometimes hard to get your head around why someone woukd be on fab for 3 years without a meet .
The usual comments as seen on this thread such as , their profile , their choice . Maybe they had a break . Got into a relationship etc..... Are all plausible , but still beg the question , what's the point ?
And this is where the difference occurs , between those on here to meet and play , and those who are here for the forums , and social interaction .
Yes it's each and everyone's choice , but still baffling to those of us who see fab as a place to meet like minded swingers , and engage in sexual activity with others in the lifestyle .

Reading a few of the comments on this thread, it seems it's some of you who 'don't get it' This site provides FREE chat and cam rooms of an adult nature, which is very popular. If you take a browse of the users in chat, you will find lots of profiles with old or no veris, purely because they are not here for that. What's. The problem with that?
Fab was started and labelled as a swingers site, but has become so popular, I believe it has evolved into more than that. It now attracts a lot of people for low/no cost adult social networking |

Exactly. How do you know they haven't met someone more recently? I've met a couple of people recently that haven't sent a veri, not really bothered as I'm not going to ask for one. One guy I meet relatively regularly and has verified me before, the other just didn't send one and that's his choice. As long as people use the site within the rules then they can use it how they wish. There are loads of people been on here over a year with no verifications, you can't assume they haven't met anyone. |

Perhaps they don't need verifications ? Maybe go to a club ever week and don't bother mentioning fab? Not everyone is actually even on fab who goes to clubs

I think you're not getting it OP. No where on this site, does it say you have to meet at all or display veri's for all those you do meet.
Lots of people just use Fab for chat and forums and I see no harm in that.

Where is the rulebook that says we have to write veris for every meet and display them all? Isn't a verification just to prove that your profile isn't a fake and that you actually exist? Doesn't matter how old it is. I certainly don't use mine to log every meet and how good (or bad) I might be in bed. But hey, that's just my opinion and how I use it. Each to their own, but no-one should get slated for having differences of opinion. Like I said, there is no rulebook.... |

We met a couple last Friday & had a good naughty night but we are friends & have verified each other a few times in the past!

If the summary is displayed that means that there are no more recent veris hidden as it states the date of the last veri, displayed or not.
I can see why some people want recent veris to know someone is truly currently meeting, but I would talk with the guy anyway, he may have fallen madly in love with his first meet and been in a relationship meanwhile. |

my last veri appears as 2 years ago (around aug 2012 to be precise)... but takes no account of the fact that I had a regular fb for many months after, took time away from fabs due to work, have messaged other members, posted on forums and visited clubs many times since ...
I do not go soliciting veri's on any and every interaction like a passport stamp collector.... silly me, I've even gone so far as to interact with folks at clubs without ever getting around to ask their names FFS!!!
does that make me a bad Fabber?
I choose to use the site and its features in a way that works for me, if that aligns with someone else's _iew of 'acceptable' or 'getting it' then great, if not, well that's just fine and dandy too. We're all different!

I have one verification on show I have more but feel I don't need to prove anything to anyone by showing,plus fab is not my be all an end life.I meet ladies an couples from other sites as well.So the one on here is all your getting and if you don't like it don't look. |

Are we talking verification here ie yes they are genuine or the trap most of us myself included which is not verification but re_iew x as mentioned above could they have morphed into something their profile does not declare ? Doubtful ? My last re_iew ahem x was ages ago since then iv had a couple of time outs and three meets who have left and gave no feed back
That said it is not unwise to be a Lil skeptical and ask questions however it is unwise to project assumptions. |

They could be like me and have opened the account but not used it as they were on another site.
I've only recently started using this site on a regular basis even though my profile has been registered for quite a while.
I regularly read people comment thathey would not go near those that have been on the site for some time but have no verifications.
I guess I'm just someone who likes a challenge! |
