I think you have to bash the brain to pulp to finish them off.
What annoys me about zombies is that they never eat nicely. They always rip the persons stomach apart and stuff the intestines in their mouths in a frenzy. The persons dead, they could just eat them in a quiet dignified manner. |

with a knife and fork!! lol"
well yes a knife and fork or, if they must use their hands, just break little bits of intestine off, no need to put two hands in and drag everything out and try and get it in one mouthful.

In western cinema Zombies pretty much started with Romero's Night Of The Living Dead back in 1968.
(Tom Savini did a far superior remake in 1990)
All through his series of zombie films (six strong now but "Dawn" and "Day" are the best) the way to kill them has been to destroy or remove the brain as stated above.
That seems to have been adopted as canon by other film makers.
One "real life" origin of Zombies (or zombis) is from voodoo practices on Haiti.

I'm preparing for the Zombie Apolcalypse already...I break in to the undertakers on a regular basis and tie the corpses' shoelaces together...feckers will be "The Falling Over Dead" when they re-animate |
