There are now almost 1650 billionaires with a combined wealth estimated at over 5 trillion dollars.
the 85 richest have a higher combined wealth than the poorest 50% of the worlds population.

read somewhere (might have been in forbes) that he has given away aprox $28billion which is exceptional and i cannot do anything but commend him for that.
however i cant help but wonder how much good not only bill gates but many of these billionaires could do if they put their experience and skills to work in the interests of equality instead of concentrating wealth among an elite group. |
