a young lady called caroline.
she never looked at me in that way, but was after my mate, so i set them up.
had to watch while he treated her like dirt for 4 years, but then i moved away, never saw or spoke to her again.

Emmy Harris. Sister Domonic told us off for kissing in the playground. We were only five. She broke my heart when she moved when we were seven. She probably only moved a few miles away but it was the end of the world for me. |

Miine was somewhat similar her name was Sarah and we were 18 and still at school (1967!!! ) i took her to the cinema , I got up the courage to slip my arm around her shoulders and she snuggled in, She turned towards me i could feel here breath on my ear as she whispered "You're Andy's best friend aren't you?" i was immediately deflated and my confidence and self esteem never recovered   |

I was 17 but I moved away just after we met I used to go over to see her about once a month it was no enough and we gradually went our separate ways she had red hair and lovely breasts my first fumble |

My (ex) husband was my first love. We were together 13 years. We still speak when we meet but I have no feelings for him at all now. I only knew my last love for a short while and only met up about once a month but that still hurts. |

His name was Daryl,I was 15. I remember seeing him a year after we broke up at the pictures unexpectedly and I went home and cried. Last time I saw him I was 23 and pregnant with my first child. He couldn't even remember my name!!! Lol |

Mine was a girl named tia we lost contact and bumped into her by chance about 10 years later didn't work out she was on drugs and her uncle as i was told turned out to be her pimp not seen her since lol |

My first love was suz. she was 14 and I was 15. We have been together ever since!
Still very much in love. We still fuck like rabbits (although not four times a day now lol).
Suz got out of her mums car (she was coming on holiday with us as a friend of my youngest sister) and as soon as I saw her I thought that's the girl for me!
We got to know each other on that holiday and that was it.

Mine was a girl called Rachael, we got together when we were 18 and was together for nearly 6 years. We started going our separate ways and fell out of love with each other. So we decided it would be good to separate then meet up after 3 months to see if we wanted to get back together.
After that 3 months we got back in contact and met up for a coffee. She asked me how I felt and I was enjoying single life and didn't want to get back together. It broke her heart and mine after a couple of months after I had realised what I had lost. Now she has a new partner and im single again after being with a woman who tried controlling my life and made me feel like shit. I guess thats karma for letting Rachael go. All I want now is a lovely lady back in my life xx |

Ok, I have said I've never been in love and I haven't, but broke up with someone of 3 years when I was twenty, only for him to get back in touch 15 years later! So yes, I did have to go back and see if anything was there and yes, we did have sex, but again for me no feelings, so left it there (after a few meets of course)
Now this week being my 40th birthday, he got back in touch again.....I'm not sure what that means....any suggestions? Am I his first love? I have no idea...... |

mine was a lad called Dean, we were mates throughout secondary school, and got together at the last day of school piss up. we were together for a while, he joined the army, and decided to cheat on me, I was heart broken and cried for days. we met up at a night club a couple of years later, and he introduced me to his army mates, as his first love  and told them I was off limits.....
we see each other now and again, he's married with kids, but still cheats, and yes..... I did give in and slept with him again, that's what got me into swinging, and yes, there is part of me that will always love him, as we went through alot together.

I was 14. She was in the same high school as me. Her name's Hanan. Was a first sight love in an early morning when we were quewing to into the excurtion bus. Been in love for six years without having the guts to express my feelings . I used to see her face each time I close my eyes. It was that bad lol. Andrew, met at college at 16, engaged at 17, planned to get married at 18. Both families put a lot of pressure on feeling we were too young but also his family were posher n didn't think I was good enough. Broke up at 19, a few weeks later I found I was pregnant, days later I mc before I even got chance to tell him. We lost touch, married other ppl n had kids then through fb mutual friends from college got back in touch. An 'emotional' affair started, we almost left our marriages, he decided he couldn't leave his kids. That was about 10yrs ago n we're back in touch again. Says he still loves me, I still love him, if I'm honest I had no business marrying my ex, but if I hadn't I wouldn't have my child who I adore and wouldn't be without. Who knows what the future holds? |

I was only 6/7 at the time but I had a wee holiday love with a boy from llanbryde and it broke my heart when he went home cause apparently he gave me a hug bye and that was our last farewell haha oh to be young again! |

My first love. And this is going to be soppy. I'm in a soppy mood. Don't judge me. I'm still the same Pops just with a lot of history.
Met her in my triple science class in year 9 at school. Was with her for years til college. We planned on getting married. But, people interfered. We broke up and that was that. We did say we'd wait for each other til we grew older. Now, I rarely see her around. But, when we do bump in to each other - still get the same butterfly effect in my stomach. We never speak though. Like as though we never met.
So, that's an insight eh lol

I know what it's like for someone to interfere in your first love too. A supposedly close friend lied to her because he was jealous causing us to break up. I was 15 and heart broken. I was reminded of those feelings of first love recently.... powerful stuff |

I think often the idea of something put of reach or unobtainable is in itself such an exciting thing. Having that person can often lead to being disappointed.
But that feeling of longing can be great fun so long as you understand that it's a fantasy and not get too embroiled in it. |
