You can't always put the kids first, people need adult time, if the kids are poorly or upset then kids first, if there just been little brats for the sake of it just to stop you going out, then I would choose to meet

Depends whether they're being unruly brats or not. Of course your children should come first, but you also should not give in to selfish behaviour.

Kids playing up are not a reason to stop having a life

Kids that are ill,distressed or obviously need you beyond anyone else will naturally come first
