I'm a worried so I don't get that feeling very often. When I do it's on a bright day when it's peaceful enough to hear the birds singing. I used to sit with my mum in her garden on summer evenings with a cup of tea, no one talking, listening to the blackbird. My mum makes me feel good |

For me it's the recently discovered delights of spooning. Such a lovely feeling. Apart from that - just now, sat on top of the stone steps in the garden, in the sun, listening to more birdsong.
Heaven. |

I love it when I go on holiday and always take a beach walk very early in the morning on my own when it's quiet I love the way when you stop you sink a bit in the sand. Then heading back to family and having a jam croissants and a Danish pastry in the sun. |

What a lovely thread and isn't it great to read that most of the things that make everyone feel good are free, excluding beer!
Sunshine, birdsong, waves, breeze, smiles and cuddles with loved ones, long walks in the country or along a beach, the sound of babies or children laughing, all do it for me |

Beach walks at night are nice too if it's warm enough to take your shoes off. I like the sound of the surf, the sand on my feet and the moonlight reflecting off the sea |

A nice beach ride, so cantering along in the sand in the sunshine with another horsey friend, and we are very lucky as there is a pub on route and we often stop there in the summer for a bite to eat and a d*unk whilst the horses munch on some grass, then head back again along the beach home |

Another is the little robin that comes in our garden when I'm doing the s. It has trusted me enough to take a worm that I dug up and offered to it. Took it from my fingers. Now I'm big and daft but nearly cried when that happened. Sorry worm was a bit crappy to you but did make me feel very hummble and blown away. |

Silence just you and your thoughts
Putting the world to rights with your best friend
Belly laughs
Spooning
Kisses that take your breath away
Fizzy pop hitting the back of your throat when your really thirsty

Snuggling in a hot bed when the room is freezing/ raining outside.
Waking up at dawn to see the world silent and covered in a blanket of snow.
Waking to see him sleeping next to me.
Walking out of work before a long holiday.

Laughing with my family/friends until I cry.
Watching sunset or sunrise from the top of my local hill with a flask of tea.
Knowing that, in work , that day you've actually made someone's life better.
Sitting having a brew with my Grandmother.
And just because I wanted to try it Dancing in the rain definitely does.

The first minutes of holding the baby that you just gave birth to. You're tired, in pain and overwhelmed. But then you have this little baby in your arms and it's all forgotten. All you are left with is such a strong feeling of love, and it's wonderful.

Early summer morn, naked and alone in the sand dunes, the sea infront of you, watching the sun come up, and feeling the heat on your body as it rises. (The sun that is!) X |

Being abroad...laying on a beach naked with my fella having an ice cold beer whilst soaking up the sun. And deliberating if we should go back in the sea to snorkel and experience the fantastic sea life together.
We are at our most chilled and happiest.
Roll on our next holiday! |

Waking up, hearing the sea lap against the sand, door slightly ajar, no breeze, no curtains and the sun beating down on to a deck overlooking the sea - walking out to a breakfast prepared with fresh fruit and turning over and seeing the person you love looking into your eyes…….
Thats the romantic version…….
now for reality…… waking up, scratching your bollocks and releasing that fart that has been building up all night then heading for a steaming hot shower. |

A home built Raleigh Pioneer Classic frame with various modifications to allow for modern brakes, sealed bottom bracket etc.
Nothing fancy, but it works for me. |
