Ignoring/deleting mail

Why cant people just say thanks but no thanks these days? I find it very rude when just get deleted . You take time to write more than fancy a shag etc and just get deleted, id rather be told no to be honest. Hard enough as single m on here as it is.

How is a thanks but no thanks going to make any difference to your success rate on here? You're not entitled to a reply-we're not entitled to anything on here. And do you really want an inbox full of messages saying 'you're not our type'?!

Take no reply as a thanks but no thanks as the FAQs say you should.

I find that keeping your first message to a simple & direct, "fancy a shag" works wonders in a kind of reverse psychological way; you should try it, time is precious!!

No, just nicer. I've got used to not receiving replies etc and it doesn't bother me anymore but when someone does reply saying 'sod off' it shows they have at least bothered to read your message.

It's not rude not to reply, it's just a matter of choice.

Do you reply to unsolicited mail you receive through your letter box? So why should we have to reply to the same just because it comes in to our inbox?

Take a no reply as a no thanks and move on. Simple really.

It isn't about 'entitlement'. I agree that no one is entitled to anything, on here or anywhere, but i don't think that was the point
