The land of grey peas and bacon |
Jack built....and I've only been in a month...The toilet has half come off the wall as it was not fitted properly and the kitchen sink is constantly blocked...nothing in the u bend...there is damp in the dining room...I'm not usually a negative person but I just want my little home perfect...  |

I did a couple of years ago and the landlord was round in double quick time to sort it out  "
Ermm no!!! That's not the best way to go about it...this is my first set of repairs being reported so we will see...the estate agency know what I do for a living so I don't think they will fuck with me to be fair...  |

Kitchen sink waste pipe should run downhill about 18mm per meter. Check where it goes and that it's not blocked at the other end. There are specific maximum lengths, but if it runs for more than about 3 meters without increasing in size it should go into a larger pipe. If it's not new pipework it may be full of grease. |
