I was disappointed by Secretary. I only saw it recently. Not sure what I was expecting but that wasn't it.
Think I'll watch the Shades film because I can't be bothered to read the books. Assuming it will be a Rom Com.  |

The director has already said that the more 'raunchy' scenes won't actually be shown in full. Yes I read the books, was looking forward to seeing the Thomas Tallis scene played out but not sure if I'll bother now  |

Without seeing it no-one really knows. I haven't read more than a paragraph of the book so can't comment on that.
But a film will be much different than the written word. There's always a chance that they could make something decent out of it. I shall be watching it with an open mind. |
