United We Stand? Independent Yorkshire a Good or Bad Idea ?

Do you think that a fully independent Yorkshire would be a good thing?
Instead of a passport, people need to drink a pint of bitter to prove they are not a Jesse. You can keep the pound, we can have our own currency called the 'how much!!!'. We have enough mushy peas fields to keep us self reliant for centuries.  |

an independent Yorkshire might be a bit of a stretch but a reconstitution of the ancient kingdom of Northumbria might stand a realistic chance of independence - and for the uninitiated, Northumbria is as it says on the tin: North of the Humber. |
