I wear glasses for driving at the moment but no doubt will need them all the time eventually. I cant even entertain the thought of wearing contacts, I have a thing about my eyes. Nothing wrong with wearing glasses OP. Some men can look very sexy in them. Experiment with different frames and colours. Make a statement and be confident wearing them  |

I agree, Men in glasses are sexy, I have also had to start to wear reading glasses and I find them rather sexy, don't worry too much. But it's hard if its affecting the old confidence. Just put them on ya will when it's Hard that will make you smile x |

Your eyewear is not who you are... they are an accessory.... nothing more, nothing less. They are no more who you are than your coat, shirt or shoes.
If you wear a pair of shoes which you don't really like, it's unlikely you will feel your best.
Wear a pair of shoes you love and you feel great!
It can work the same way for glasses. |

I used to wear glasses...had done so from the age of 8... I felt the worse my eyes became the less attractive they looked as the lenses would become thicker which would make my eyes look smaller..
Had surgery done... Not sure if I look any more attractive or confident in my appearance..
The convenience of not having to wear contacts during sports has made the op worth it  |

Suppose it does depend on the person like most things. The plus side is I did enjoy all the years of masturbating which eventually left me with bad eyes. |

I wear glasses for reading but have been asked to wear the in bed on more than one occasion, it's the same as anything some people find them sexy or the wearer sexier with them and some don't, it's just personal preference. So no need for them to knock your confidence. |

I have to wear glasses most of the time. Tried contacts but am scared of anything going in my eyes. Just get a pair that suit you. And girls who wear glasses that suit them are HOT! Mind you, the cost of glasses these days!! |

And sometimes that can be an advantage.
I've stopped wearing them at clubs because I don't want to lose them or get them covered in man juice. Blimmin' expensive these days! |

Choose glasses that DON'T suit you, then you will achieve that Clark Kent / superman effect when removing them, emphasised by the hot scowl you will naturally adopt when squinting your eyes to make sure she is still there |

Its a strange thing. I (Rick) needed glasses for a long time, but was too self conscious to take the plunge. In the end, I realised it was becoming an issue with many things, including driving safely. I don't feel at all conscious anymore, and I don't honestly think it makes much difference as far as women finding someone attractive, or not. |

As contact lenses are getting a rather bad press on here. Can I just say, mine are really comfortable and I wear them all day
I bought a pair of expensive trendy glasses last year and managed to lose them in 2 months! 
If there are any glasses wearing ladies around, I have always rather fancied coming over a pretty bespectacled face |

I have worn glasses all my life and gone through the vain stage in my 20's and wore contacts for a few years.
Now with the variety of frames out there why should it knock your confidence, if people can't accept you for who you are then they are not worth knowing anyway.... |
