Close to A55 in our own bubble

Ok at the risk of sounding stupid I have a question for all the female runners ( well anyone who is in the know really lol)

I have just started out running , well I say running it's more fast walk then run then fast walk then run and so on. What I would like help with is... What the hell am I meant to wear as underwear under my leggings. I know about the sports bra but the bit that is getting me down is trying to run when I feel like my bloody knickers are falling down, I'm constantly pulling t-shirt down and leggings up , and yes my knickers are the right size haha

I am meant to be doing a long run in May (think I may have bitten off more than I can do lol) I'm thinking maybe I should have lost at least 3 stone before agreeing to do it but it's for charity and if I have to walk it then I will.

So anyone who can give me some advice with the underwear situation or even how to run further than 100 meters at a time lol I'd be very grateful , thank you x

Breathing correctly will help you run further.

As for underwear I've no idea, I have the same issue.

To put it very simply, buy some Lycra running shorts or some running tights. Because they cling to your skin you won't need knickers and you won't get sore bits as the skin can't rub together

Get yourself some light running slacks, preferably with pop studs down the outer seam. No problems then with say lycra shorts for comfort underneath, and plenty of natural ventilation...

Tight boxers/ trunks under my lycra leggings keep everything secure and in their proper place

My shorts have a liner, so it's commando when I'm wearing those

Chester half marathon May 18th perhaps ?
