No. The time waster is someone who has arranged a confirmed meet, does not show nor communicate with you. There are lots of seasons people are on fab, and many of us use it to supplement our swinging lives, and it is not our primary life support system. It can especially take some single guys time to establish themselves too. Better an old profile sustained than someone perpetually creating new ones. If you have problems with people wasting your time, then report to admin. Idle speculation is wasted energy. |

"Is It a fair assumption that someone who has been a member for over a year but doesn't have any verifications is a time waster."
Not really some with lots of verifications can be timewasters others without very genuine. The real timewasters put up and delete profiles to get round being blocked. If you feel someone isn't right ignore them if your gut feeling says give them a chance go with it but putting faith in someone who penned a few lines isn't reliable in judging someone's attitude to meeting or not. |

Some of the folks on this site seem to be hung up on labelling other folks. If someone wants to chat and not meet means that they do not want to meet strangers and just chat!

We have quite a harsh selection process when chatting to people and we do generally make a negative judgement call against longterm unverified profiles. That said it's not necessarily a deal breaker although we would certainly not inconvenience ourselves massively in making arrangements to meet someone like that.
Would I label them a fake or time waster? No. Labelling other people or trying to define them is totally pointless and will achieve nothing. People should focus on how they select people and find a process that works for them rather than waste energy pigeon holing people. |

A timewaster by definition would be someone that wastes someone else's time. so if in that year they had been promising certain things to people then never following through without good reason and giving the impression they were looking to meet when they Actually have no intention therefore wasting people's time then yes you could say they were timewasters. but there are lots of reasons people have no veris after a year and as long as they are honest about why they are on here it's fine not everyone is on here to meet. we meet a couple socially a year ago and it took us a year to meet them again even though we kept in contact and had few arrangements fall through because of our family commitments, we could then have been acussed of being timewasters by some. everyone has different lives and expectations from the site and because they don't fit with yours doesn't make them timewasters, fakes or not genuine swingers !!! |

"Is It a fair assumption that someone who has been a member for over a year but doesn't have any verifications is a time waster.
It's a possible indicator but not a given." So if you use the site solely for the chat rooms and forums your a time waster...........ok gotcha! |

She said possible, not probable.
When a site gives us tools to choose our meets, some people would consider another who has been on the site a long time without verifications not serious about meeting. And people who do use the site solely for chatrooms and forums tend to put that on their profiles, thus making it easier for us looking for meets to avoid them. |

To me, a time waster is someone who has arranged a meet and no shows with either a poor excuse or nothing when you have taken the time to get ready and travelled to the meet. Then you truly have wasted your own personal time and money. If its a poor excuse or a genuine one the day before its frustrating but none of my time has really been wasted as I'd be on here chatting anyway. |

That's my take on it too. I am quite able to waste my own time on here. |

Quite.
Plus a "timewaster" is someone who arranges meets and doesn't turn up.
Someone who doesn't want to meet in person and therefore doesn't arrange meets isn't a timewaster in my opinion. |

Time travelers shouldn't be too concerned with timewasters.
On a serious note, labelling someone a timewaster is often an unfair assumption made by the rejected in my opinion. |
