Are singles on here just having sex?. As a lot think to be a true swinger you need to be a couple.? Do singles pick this as its easy to move to the next and no ties and no dating needed If they like sex. Its a label but whats a true swinger to you .? And I am sure some just become a member here and think they are .

Swining isn't just about sex it's the social aspect too. Couples or singles with no interest in being social in my opinion are not true singers. As a single lady swinger I like to make bonds with people and not really interested in endless one offs. Sex, even for single women, is much easier to get away from this site

I think all this 'you cannot be swingers if you're single' is a load of bollocks. I'm not here to have a one night stand or whatever you may want to call it (although it may happen). But, the way in which i use the site is to make friends with those who are kinky and share sexual experiences together.

So, i'm primarily here to form likeminded friendships and take it from there. I'm not one of those people that everyone would jump at the opportunity to meet - and i know that. So, not everything on here is sexual for me.

...that does not stop from being called a swinger. I always thought swinging was a lifestyle filled with debauchery and kink - sex being the factor that brings everyone together. A platform for everyone to fulfill their darkest desires and explore...

Labels are for jam jars. At the end of the day the term "swinger" is just a label and i really could'nt care less if a couple think i'm a swinger or not as a single male here. Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? (I don't think so).

I joined this site, which is a swingers site to meet up with people for sex, the site allows single male and female memebrs to join, we all contribute to the site in different ways and fund the site with our memberships. If some couples have trouble accepting that then they are the ones with the problem really.

Swinging is supossed to be fun. Why the politics? Each to their own. I think singles help the swinging scene, i'm sure at some point others have been single but been part of the swinging scene and are now swinging as a couple. I play either on my own or with a playmate. Both ways work for me. I don't beleive because your single you can't be part of the scene.. This doesn't seem to be an issue in most of the clubs but only on the swinging sites. Everyone is entittled to their opinion.

I think it is possible for singles to be swingers…. at heart. Imagine a person (male or female) who has enjoyed the pleasures of sharing a partner with one or more other couples and for whatever reason now finds themselves single, but wishes to have a similar relationship with their next partner. I think this person is a swinger… even though they may not be swinging at that present moment in time.

I wouldn’t class many of the singles on here as swingers – and I’m often baffled by the vigorous endeavours of some to claim right to the label… it smacks of desperation to differentiate and one can only imagine negative motivation for this. Despite the repeated claims of not being judgemental, with a hearty dose of “each to their own” and “whatever floats your boat”, it is often (but not exclusively) those most needing to define themselves as a ‘swinger’ who are the most covertly judgemental of how others choose to pursue their sexual desires – only giving away their cover occasionally by sneering at the more diversely liberated and dropping in comments like “no standards” or “any hole” and “not fussy”.

I have found many singles who clutch at the swinging label to be some of the most closed minded in terms of recreational sex and ‘how it should be done’ – though fuck knows who put them in charge of the rule book.

I would and sometimes do refer to myself as a swinger… though I would never try to claim any 1-2-1 meet was swinging. When I have referred to myself as a swinger it has been in the context that I would be happy to explore meeting other couples, attending swinging parties or swinging clubs with a real life partner…it was once a convenient way to say that in one word… though as the meaning of the term becomes more cloudy and diluted, I am less likely to use it. As a single on here I don’t swing… I have recreational sex. So if someone wishes to challenge me using the term swinger, please feel free… I am not precious about the label.

I enjoy ’the social aspect of swinging’ or should I say the swinging scene. However, when that phrase was first conceived it meant something different to how many singles use it today. The ‘social aspect’ once referred to the drinks, nibbles and chatting at swinging parties… before everyone got stuck into fucking each other senseless. It referred to groups of people being able to relax and enjoy the social company of a gathering of those you were about to share the sexual company of. .. during the night, the weekend mini-break or two weeks away in Portugal. It even meant introducing people (you were currently or had previously been playing with) to each other if you thought they would get on… and I seriously can’t imagine some of the single women on here introducing their latest prize catch to their adversaries (excuse me for a moment whilst I chuckle my tits off at that thought).

Nowadays ‘the social aspect’ seems to be frequently used to describe posting on a forum, texting, talking on the phone to someone - even when you have no intention of shagging.... and in some cases pretending to like everyone whilst slagging them off in private. You may have guessed, to me the forum, and what hides behind it, is nothing to do with the ‘social aspect’ of the swinging scene I enjoy.

Actually the dictionary definition of slapper is 'a promiscuous or vulgar woman' so in that respect I would argue (as a married woman who meets and plays with my husband) that if you insist on using such vulgar terms , you (and every woman on here) is a 'slapper'.

Personally I don't feel the need to use such labels though!

I'm single and you may well have a point.

I've no one as a swing partner so you are probably right about singles not being real swingers be they male or female.

I do think however singles in the swing scene especially females are important.

I swing because I really do not want to tell lies to get sex.Most women in the dating game want some commitment and most definitely want to be the only person you have sex with.I can't make that promise unless I fall in love then I would do it because I did it before for two decades with no regrets.

Many men however don't want the commitment but still want their wives and partners to only have sex with them.

Ask yourselves how can there be so many men "spare" on this site and in clubs?

Is the world so full of single men?I don't think so and neither do most of you.It's an elephant in the room but an Elephant that pays for swing clubs and sites like this.

The only reason swing clubs get away with this is because no one wants to bring a sex discrimination case for going to a swing club.

If they did they would win hands doewn and most of the clubs would shut in weeks as a result of that ruling.

Sex discrimination is illegal it's that simple.

Then couples would have these sites but we have already established the sheer volume of single males compared to couples and single females.

Could swing sites take a 60% or more reduction in revenue and stay running?Would the millions they make now compare to a trickle of money later?

We are talking financial reality for the people who make a good living from the swing scene not the morality if some one is a "real" swinger or not.

This is a very profitable business but only if single men think with their dicks and have "flexible" morality.

If real swingers came out of the closet and took the crap that society would undoubtedly throw at them you could survive.However that's not going to happen any time soon so clubs and sites and indeed "real swingers" need males who fuck about like it or not.
