On average?

25 hours a day, 9 days a week, 63 weeks a year.

Every year for the last 76.

No wonder I look so good in the mornings!

Titz Towers, North Notts

I do 4 days on straight, but get to rest and spend time on here. It's good money, but does keep me out of the house for a long time.

I leave my house at 5am Monday morning and get home Friday evening around 6pm.

I'm currently working in Southampton but I'm in London from next Monday until such a time as they move me on.

I love my job though. I was out of work for 4 months three yrs ago and I'm not keen to be there again.

I get paid a flat 40hrs, no paid overtime or lieu time.

Well about 50 hours officially but as im self employed you could double that by the time I've done quotes and paperwork, generally more the last week in the month as im invoicing and chasing money

I work in an office - so I only do 37 hours.

I've been know to do 90 hour weeks - thank goodness I don't do that anymore. Mind you - the money was good.

I can work anything from my standard 37 to 60 depending on what I have going on in work and at times can end up doing 10 to 17 days straight without a break.

In 2012 I did 186 hours of overtime that I never managed to claim back in toil......I'm more careful about it now.

I love my job... And know what it is to do 48 60 hour weeks... But...

In the last six months the company have made 8 out of 15 posts redundant, and expect the rest if us to pick up the slack... To get the work out AND save them 8 salaries...

Yep... That'll happen... I do my contracted 37 hours now...

Any extra I take in toil.

Take toil during the summer - about 4 weeks worth.

Officially 37 though with traveling and the rest closer to 50 and that's without hotel nights away. Not ideal but I like what I do and it has perks.
